Four Phases of Care

At Satnick Chiropractic we believe in treating patients by following four phases of care. Each phase lasts for about four weeks and is focused on us obtaining the optimum results for our patients.

Phase 1: Relief Care

  • Reduce pain
  • Reduce nerve irritation
  • Reduce tissue inflammation
  • Increase flexibility

Recommendations

  • Ice for 10-15 minutes every two hours
  • Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day to flush toxins
  • Avoid stressful activities and rest
  • Keep your appointment schedule, this is imperative
  • Complete gentle range of motion exercise
  • Manual Adjustments

Phase 2: Correction

  • Reposition joint to restore structure
  • Heal nerve root
  • Increase range of motion
  • Restore joint function
  • Restore function to muscles

  • Perform active stretching program provided by clinic
  • Use orthopedic supports supports properly
  • Lumbar back support
  • Cervical neck pillow
  • Drink 6-8 glasses of water daily to flush toxins
  • Maintain appointment schedule, this is critical

Phase 3: Strengthening

  • Rehabilitate muscles
